Voiceworks invests in future coding talent

Programmers are becoming more scarce. Investing in the future isn’t just important for companies such as Voiceworks, but also for students themselves. Hogeschool InHolland's ‘’applied sciences’’ method in education puts students in touch with companies. An example of this happened yesterday, at the Voiceworks office in Almere, for the kick-off of an ambitious student project. For this project the students will be guided from Voiceworks’ own development team.

First-year students of the course Mathematical Engineering have to develop an application that enables students to attend lectures from a distance. This will allow students to attend classes, even in case of a long-term illness.

Arturo Canalda - Technical Lead at Voiceworks' software development team - said: ‘’The students have been given an ambitious assignment. I really liked their enthusiasm and I’m greatly looking forward to the results’’.
